Illustrator Florentina Surel is based in Copenhagen and hails from a small town in Romania.

In our free-flow conversation about memories, working hard, and about being transplanted into a different culture, Florentina defines her sense of home thus:

"I don’t know if I’ll ever feel at home anywhere, with anybody or any possessions, if I'll ever become as good as I picture I should be – that’s to be discovered – but I choose to define this feeling of restlessness as my home."
